August 17-20th National Day of Pinot Noir Celebration

August 17 - August 20

$40

In true Au Bon Climat style, we are taking this celebration a step further and extending it from August 17th to 20th at the tasting room. It’s a long weekend of phenomenal Pinot Noir and Chardonnay featuring a special flight of current and rare, library vintages from Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. We are saluting one of the great vineyards of the world with this stellar lineup which includes a 21-year-old Pinot (old enough to drink!). These wines age remarkably well. Come by and see for yourself!

Au Bon Climat has been making wine from Sanford & Benedict grapes since the mid-1980s. Since then, we have received fruit from them every year; a relationship of over 4 decades. Only Sanford Winery has that kind of “history” with this vineyard. The iconic, sustainably farmed vineyard was instrumental in elevating awareness that Santa Barbara County creates world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It remains at the top of its class. Consequently, Sanford & Benedict Vineyard earned a position in Au Bon Climat’s Santa Barbara Historic Vineyards Collection series.
