Guided Tour through Margerum Estate Vineyard

Saturday, July 1st

At Honea Vineyard, Los Olivos, CA

10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.

*Limit: 25 people per group


This will be an educational tour of our new vineyard and a chance to taste some of our new releases – Riviera Rosé Reserve, M5 White, “Rani’s” Viognier, and the outstanding (once every ten years) Multi-Vintage Syrah.  Be prepared to learn about grafting, vineyard care and olive trees. We will introduce you to the unique micro climate of the Los Olivos District and the quality of fruit that will be produced at this exceptional vineyard site. The focus: the ten different Rhne varietals we have planted – Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Counoise, Cinsault, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Picpoul Blanc. We will explain the unique qualities of each of these red and white Rhône varietals we use for our M5 Red and M5 White wines. In addition, we will discuss the specific characteristics of the three olive varietals planted on our property that we make our Extra Virgin Olive Oil from.

Be prepared to walk to the top of the property where the pergola offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley (we will have a truck to transport those who need assistance during the 11:00 a.m. group).  It is recommended that you wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a chair or blanket, a hat, and sunscreen. We will end the tour under beautiful oak trees enjoying an al fresco lunch, music, friendship and these special Margerum wines. Be one of the first to visit our new Estate vineyard.


Lunch is a selection of sandwiches, salads and desserts catered by Fresco Valley Cafe.

We will also be offering the opportunity to buy these exciting new wines at a great price!


Tickets are $30 for General Admission; $20 for Wine Club Members (tickets are non-refundable) and can be purchased by selecting a time below:
